Welcome to Jina's Peace of Pottery!

Hi, my name is Jina Deimeke! I enjoy creating functional pottery in any spare time I can grab from my everyday busy mom life. 

I am grateful and blessed to have the ability to be a stay at home mom and cherish my time with my children.  But as any busy fellow entrepreneur mama knows, it is easy to allow your dreams and passions to be placed on the back burner.  Tis the season of life for a mom of young children and I wouldn't have it any other way. 

After taking my first College Ceramics class in 2010, I have daydreamed about becoming a full time potter and opening my own business. As life continued on after college, I married my wonderful husband Scott, and we began creating our family.  

 Bio

I was born and raised in central Missouri. Growing up on a family farm instilled the values of hard work, craftsmanship, dedication, and more along with the joy of working with my hands and playing in the dirt (now clay).  I have continued to grow and expand my knowledge in pottery over the years and have also enjoyed teaching classes part time from both my in home studio as well as a local arts center.
